Assistant Coach David comes to Shipwatch with an extensive resumé. He has been Director of tennis in prestigious clubs across the United States ranging from California, Wyoming, Florida, Chicago, Il, Sun Valley, ID, Utah to mention a few. Some of his credits among many are: Author of "8 Weeks to a lifetime of tennis" (published in August 2019); PTR Certified Professional Level P1, Certified USTA 10 and under; Certified PTR 10 and under, Certified PTR 11-17 and adults; Certified USRSA since 1979; Certified USPTA level 1 in 2020.
Not only has he been Tennis Director of many facilities, he has also worked as Manager of Sales, expanded many junior programs, was Head Coach for Men's and Women's at Butte Community College, worked in Membership Sales, Corporate Fitness Facilitator in Chico, CA. It would take 4 pages to recount his vast experience in the world of tennis and sports.
Interesting to note and add on this website is that Coach David was the personal Tennis Coach for Harrison Ford from Feb. through Aug. 1989.

Logan Hull

Coach Logan grew up in Atlanta, GA where he began playing tennis at the age of 8. He continued playing even at Covenant College where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Biblical Studies, Business and Economics.
Currently he is working full-time at Faith Community Church as Director of Students and Facility Manager. Additionally, he is pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry online at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Logan has completed his PTR certification and has been coaching tennis nearly 3 years. He looks forward to
coaching here at Shipwatch. Let's welcome Logan!

Wendall has been teaching tennis at Shipwatch for over 6 years, and he helps the Head Pro and Pro Shop staff serve the general needs of the members. He arranges games for members, guests, and visitors. He regularly subs in all the different playing groups, and sends out informative emails to over 200 club members on social/people matters. He works especially well with seniors, beginning and novice players, helping them move quickly to intermediate skill levels. Students find his large repertoire of doubles tips and tactics fun and easy to learn. He emphasizes “Safety, Skills, and Fun” in his lessons. Wendall serves the larger Tampa Bay tennis community by sending current tennis news/happenings via emails to over 1,800 players/pro’s. He has received awards from USTA and USPTA for his contributions to tennis.
